IN HARDING TOWNSHIP, THIS 18TH-CENTURY BARN was completely restored to suit the contemporary needs of the client. The upper levels of the building serve as a party barn, while the lower levels are reserved for a 3-car garage. To merge the barn into the original landscape, the original structure was dismantled and moved to create a bank barn. A pool terrace is incorporated on the second level for family and guests to enjoy. It was important to carefully preserve the original timber frame to implement it into the updated design of the barn. Details consisting of planed wide plank flooring along with crisp, clean walls and trim blend the classic structure with a fresh, modern layout.

Accessible from the main entertainment floor is a mudroom with an adjacent bathroom, changing rooms, and laundry. A short hall leading to a sleeping loft invites family and friends to spend the evening at this charming restoration.
